- The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad is a spectacular trip with 53 miles of track, 2 tunnels, and 15 bridges. Choose from a variety of excursions ranging from half day to full clay round trips ... steam or diesel, gourmet dinner trains, mystery theatre dinner trains.
- A walk through Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is a journey back in time through a magnificent forest with towering trees as old as 400 years. The only way to see the impressive memorial forest is on foot, covering 2 miles. Beautiful in all seasons.
- Cherohala Skyway crosses through the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests connecting Tellico Plains in southeast Tennessee to Robbinsville, NC. The Skyway's name comes from a combination of the two forests ? Chero, from Cherokee, and hala, from Nantahala. It took over 30 years to build and cost $100 million, but it's spectacular and scenery is what this skyway is all about!
